Known problems: Some have broken doors and/or a hole cut out in the back.
Leaf boxes can be inspected Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Department of Public Works, 16500 Annapolis Road Bowie, MD 20715. Please contact Kenny Nosacek, at 240-508-6057 or knosacek@cityofbowie.org to schedule an appointment.
The City of Bowie will charge applicable sales tax (6%) for all items, excluding vehicle sales. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer
must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of
notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be
presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: The City of Bowie may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to
all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
