Garland Steam-Jacketed Kettle – Model 5687499C01
Description:
This auction is for one Garland steam-jacketed kettle, Model 5687499C01, previously used in a school district kitchen environment. District records indicate the unit was originally purchased in approximately 1985–1986. The kettle is constructed of stainless steel and mounted on a base cabinet with hinged doors and leveling legs. A swing-arm fill faucet is present. Garland manufacturer branding is visible on the unit.
Although a model number has been identified, the service tag was difficult to locate, and therefore exact specifications such as capacity, power source, and utility requirements are unknown. The kettle has not been tested, and overall functionality is unknown. No guarantees are made regarding operation, heating performance, controls, steam system, valves, or remaining service life.
The unit shows cosmetic wear consistent with long-term institutional food-service use, including scratches, scuffs, and discoloration typical of stainless-steel commercial equipment.
