This car starts, runs, and drives; however, it required jump starting and the engine shut off a couple of times while being moved around the lot, no diagnostics or testing performed. Battery replacement may be required at the time of pick-up (auction winner is responsible for providing the battery and performing the necessary work.)
All logistical decisions are to be made at the auction winners discretion. 
The paint has multiple defects, interior shows wear and tear consistent with its age and mileage, and it is equipped with A/C (not tested.)

This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Inspection is recommended.

  • Auction pick up by appointment only (no exceptions) M-F (excluding holidays) between 8:00 a.m-2:00 p.m.
  • All third-party pickups require an e-mailed letter of authorization from the auction winner.
  • Vehicles and equipment sold may have hidden or unknown defects.
  • All vehicle or item inspection/viewing by appointment only, no exceptions
  • All vehicles may require jump starting. Please be advised, replacing dead batteries is the responsibility of the auction winner. We will assist jump starting providing personnel are available.
  • Maintenance records are not provided.
  • No repairs are to be made on site except jump starting or battery changes.

PayMac, handles all payments for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days from close of auction.

Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment. VA Sales Tax (6%) collected on all auctions except vehicles (DMV collects tax on titled items).

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) within 5 business days from the time and date of receipt of payment notification. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: Virginia Beach City Public Schools may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers. All items are offered on an AS-IS, WHERE IS basis.
