Scantron OpScan 4U Optical Mark Reader

This listing is for one (1) Scantron OpScan 4U optical mark reader (OMR) scanner. The unit shows normal cosmetic wear from previous use, including light scuffs and scratches. The scanner powers on, the LCD display is functional, and the front panel buttons respond, allowing navigation through the on-screen menu system. Due to a lack of compatible software, answer sheets, and a complete testing environment, no further functional testing was performed.
 
Included are the external power supply, computer interface cable, one SelfScore Complete/18 Version 5.0 software cartridge, and one NCS Pearson OpScan 4U/18 Version 5.0 Control Cartridge. No manuals or additional accessories are included.

Description
The Scantron OpScan 4U is a desktop optical mark reader designed for scoring multiple-choice tests, surveys, and other mark-sense forms. It reads completed forms using optical mark recognition technology and is commonly used in educational institutions and testing environments. This unit includes installed software and a control cartridge but has only been verified to power on and display its menu screens.

Appointments must be scheduled in advance for inspections and pick up.  Appointment hours are 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday.

PAYMENT
PayMac Inc, Surplus handles all payments for FCPS. Payment must be received within 5 business days of close of auction or user will lose the auction and it will be relisted and user could possibly be banned from future auctions. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Buyer Premium: A 7% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment. VA Sales Tax (6%) collected on all auctions except vehicles (DMV collects tax on titled items).

AUCTION DEPOSIT
Any item that goes over $500 will require a $50 bid deposit on it.

PICK-UP
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the end of the auction or user will lose the auction and payment. User may be banned from future auctions. A copy of the payment receipt/ receipt email, must be presented at the time of pick up. Pickup hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 2:30pm at Sideburn and Forte Center and 7:00am to 1:30pm at Woodson or Merrifield. If terms are violated there will be no refund. FCPS will not ship auctions. Winner is responsible for shipping. Auction winners are responsible for loading and hauling auctions.
