JET Table Saw – Industrial / Woodshop Equipment

Description:
This auction is for one JET table saw previously used in a school district woodshop setting. The saw appears to be a large, stationary table saw with an extended work surface supported by metal legs. A belt-driven electric motor is mounted beneath the table, as shown in the photos.

The table surface shows heavy wear, including scratches, stains, residue, and surface discoloration consistent with long-term shop use. The blade area is visible, and the saw appears to be configured for rip and cross-cut operations; however, accessories such as fences, guards, or miter gauges are not guaranteed to be included unless visible in photos.

According to maintenance staff, when the unit was plugged in, the motor powered on, however the bearings appear to bind or hold up rotation but eventually moves.  Bearings may require greasing or replacement. The saw has not been fully tested, and no diagnosis or repairs have been performed. No guarantees are made regarding repair cost or final operability.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

Belen Consolidated Schools may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
