This unit works great, but the new school we are moving into has a different freezer system. The Nor-Lake AdvantEDGE 3-door freezer (model NLF72-S) is a commercial, reach-in unit featuring a stainless steel interior and exterior, a 72 cubic foot capacity, and a temperature range of -5°F to 0°F. It is designed for commercial foodservice operations.
Key Features and Specifications
The Nor-Lake NLF72-S AdvantEDGE 3-door reach-in freezer includes several features designed for durability, energy efficiency, and ease of use in a commercial environment.
- Construction: Features a durable stainless steel interior and exterior with radius corners on the grille doors and bottom grill.
- Capacity & Shelving: Offers a large 72.0 cu. ft. of gross storage space and comes standard with four vinyl-coated shelves per door section (12 shelves total), which is more than the industry standard. The interior is designed to accommodate full-size 18x26 sheet pans.
- Refrigeration System: Uses a bottom-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system (1 HP) for easier access to the cabinet interior and the top of the unit. It utilizes environmentally responsible R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant in some models.
- Controls and Alarms: Equipped with a full electronic controller with a digital display, which provides precision temperature control and includes useful features like a door open alarm and a condenser cleaning alarm.
- Doors: The solid hinged doors have a patented curved handle with a recessed pocket for easy operation and a hold-open device that secures the door at 95 degrees for loading and unloading, and self-closes when released. Door locks are a standard feature.
- Mobility: The unit includes swivel casters for easy mobility, two of which are locking.
Please note: This auction item will be in use until December 19, 2025. This school is being closed so pickups will be scheduled between 12/22/25 and 12/20/25. All items MUST be picked up before 12/31/2025 or will be forfeit.
