Model / Description: Vintage Cummins Diesel Injector Timing Tool Set - P/N #3375522 (1981)

Up for auction is a Vintage, Original Cummins Diesel Injector Timing Tool Set, Part Number 3375522, proudly dated to 1981.

This is a professional-grade, specialized service tool, essential for mechanics and restorers working on classic Cummins heavy-duty engines of that era. This tool is specifically designed to perform static injection timing by precisely measuring the injector plunger travel relative to the piston position, allowing for the accurate adjustment of cam followers.

A Piece of Cummins History: Tools from this period are increasingly rare and sought after. This specific fixture kit would have been crucial for setting up the mechanical fuel systems on some of Cummins' most legendary and reliable platforms.

Known Compatible Engine Families (Era Specific): This tool is primarily used for the mechanically-governed and early electronically-controlled engines popular in the early 1980s, including:

  • NTC / NT855 (Big Cam, Small Cam)

  • L10

  • K-Series (K19, K38, K50)

  • Early M11

Condition:

  • Above Average Vintage Condition: Given its age of over 40 years, this set is in above average condition. The components show clear signs of professional use, as expected from a service tool, but are well-maintained. There is likely some patina or minor cosmetic wear on the plating and case, but no signs of abuse, heavy rust, or missing critical pieces.

  • Housed in Original/Associated Case: (Specify if the original metal or wooden case is included and its condition based on photos.)

  • Perfect for the Collector or Working Restoration Shop.

Kit Contents (Please Verify Against Photos): The auction includes the timing fixture/bracket and any associated dial indicators, extensions, or plungers necessary to perform the timing procedure using P/N 3375522. Note: Please review all photographs to confirm the exact quantity and completeness of the components.

Don't miss this opportunity to acquire an authentic, period-correct Cummins specialty tool in great shape for its age! Bid with confidence.
