Winning Bidder Information:

 

Contact Maria (within five business days upon notification of award)by phone at (805) 583-6887 or by email at mmduncan@simivalley.org to arrange pick-up day and time (within ten business days upon contact). If the Winning Bidder, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the City reserves the right to retain any and all payments and re-list the item(s).

 

Pick-up Times are Monday – Thursday from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM. No Walk-Ins.

 

The Winning Bidder is expected to bring a vehicle large enough to accommodate their purchase and must provide their own labor and materials to remove all items purchased from the City’s warehouse. The Winning Bidder must take all items at the time of pick-up. The Winning Bidder is also expected to load the purchased items. Please bring someone with you if you are unable to carry or lift your purchased items. 

 

Purchased items not picked up on the specified day/time, and without notice, will be considered abandoned. Please be advised that the City of Simi Valley will have the ability to re-list any and all items designated as abandoned without a refund.

City of Simi Valley may require a bid deposit.

PayMac handles all payments for City of Simi Valley.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


City of Simi Valley will charge a sales tax of 7.25%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released. There will be no shipping from the City unless otherwise stated in the individual auction page.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
