All SMOG related repairs and certifications are the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. Local sales tax will be charged by Public Surplus at the time of purchase based on the location of the sale. Additional taxes or fees may be assessed by the DMV when you register the vehicle in your name.

When picking-up items, please have PRINTED PAPER COPIES of:
1. The notice of award
2. Payment receipt, and
3. State issued personal photo identification
and
4. If being picked up by a THIRD PARTY (such as a shipping company), in addition to presenting the three items above, the third party will also be required to present a PRINTED copy of a STATE ISSUED PHOTO ID of the BUYER. (See Terms and Conditions).

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
