Used 2015 Thomas/ Freightliner Safety Liner C2 School Bus.
Decommissioned November 2025.
This bus is equipped with a Braun Millennium series front mount wheelchair lift and a Thermo King roof top air conditioning unit. Bus is currently set up with retractors for three wheelchair stalls. The bus has track flooring space for up to three wheelchair stalls. The bus has four floor mounted 39" wide factory seats installed, five 36" floor mounted seats installed, and one 26" floor mounted seat. 219" wheel base. 31,420LB GVWR. Rear air suspension
Bus sells with the following noted issues:
* Front tires worn, 40% or less tread remaining.
* Rear tires worn, 40% or less tread remaining.
* A/C system may be leaking, may be low on charge
* Batteries weak, will need to be jump started.
* Faded paint, rust, and corrosion
* Body scratches & dents
* Wheelchair lift may need repair
* Small air leak behind dash.
The unit is sold "AS-IS" in its current condition. No Warranty or Guarantee is said or implied. Inspection is encouraged prior to bidding. No on-site repairs will be allowed. Test driving of the vehicle is strictly prohibited. The District reserves the right to accept or dismiss bids under the School Board's discretion. Please review the District's Disclaimer and Payment Policies. Viewing the vehicle and arranging a pickup time must be pre-arranged. The winning bidder is responsible for the vehicle removal within 10 business days of the notification of payment.
Bid Deposits: Saginaw Intermediate School District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.
PayMac handles all payments for Saginaw Intermediate School District.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
Saginaw Intermediate School District will charge a sales tax of 6%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid. All sales are final.
Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises.
Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the Saginaw Intermediate School District will not release the item to you. Pick-up hours by appointment only.
